Beware the PVC trap...

Beware; some products out there in the major stores appear to be a ‘dirt trapper’ and are indeed cheap, yet they are made with PVC backing. PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) does not perform as well as latex or rubber during wash cycles, nor does it offer the same quality of grip or anti-slip to your floor. You will probably find due to this poor choice of backing that the product does not carry a 5 year guarantee.
